Yesterday I had the pleasure of listening to William Gibson speak at Powell’s Books. He spent most of the time reading excerpts from his new book as well as fielding questions from the audience. Topics ranged from Tokyo, the internet and where he finds his creativity. It was most riveting.
Steidl will soon be releasing a book of sketches by David Lynch. The work included will spans from over the past 50 years. It guarantees to be spooky and from another planet!

Similar to Google Map Travel, Artist Aaron Hobson’s Cinemascapes is a collection images taken from Google Earth. This one was taken from Sao Joao Del Rei, Brazil.
Photographer Eric Cahan’s Sky Series documents what the sky looks like at different locations at sunrise and sunset. They almost have a Rothko quality to them. This particular photo was captured at sunrise at Main Beach in Easthampton.
Nike Portland opened its doors to the public today. Special features include the interactive Bill Bowerman screen and NIKE ID section. The picture shown is the different waffles soles used in Nikes running shoes over the years.
Nike 2012 Huarache’s are going back to the 90’s styling. The retro-ed shoes will feature the new Free soles, giving it 21st century technology. Expected to drop in November.
